Powerful high security shredder suitable to shred “Classified” and “Top Secret” documents. Tested and approved by many international Governments and Military Bodies, this shredder is also being used by the US Department of States, the CIA and the National Security Agency. The special cut of 0,8×5 mm meets the latest shredding Standards issued by the National Security Agency (NSA/CSS Specification 02-01) of the US Government. A sheet of paper is shredded into 20.000 micro-shreds which become absolutely unreadable even if special electronic optical microscopes are used. Kobra 400 HS-6 Auto-Oiler comes with an automatic oiling system as standard feature. Motor thermal protection: 24 hour continuous duty powerful 2100 Watt motor without overheating and duty cycle, carbon hardened steel cutting knives, heavy duty chain drive with steel gears which offer reliability and resistance to wear.

The Shred Guard Metal Detector provides Kobra shredders with an additional protection against any type of metal of large size which could cause a damage to the cutting knives, if introduced into the shredder. The “Shred Guard” System detects when large metal objects are accidentally inserted into the shredder and stops the machine: a blue flashing light warns the operator to remove these objects in order to protect the knives.
